Calacatta Gold Quartz – White and Gold, Without the Marble Price
This is Calacatta Gold quartz. Bright white base, gold veining, polished finish. Installed by Cheap Quartz with a matching splashback in an L-shaped kitchen.
The veining on this one is on the heavier side — visible from across the room, runs at an angle rather than straight down. It's what makes Calacatta recognisable. The quartz version replicates the pattern well enough that most people won't ask what it is.
Worktop and splashback are cut from the same material. The join between counter and wall disappears into one continuous surface. In a white kitchen it reads clean and deliberate rather than pieced together.
Polished quartz reflects light. With white cabinets and a decent window, this finish will make a mid-sized kitchen feel bigger than it measures. The sink and hob cut-outs are tight — no visible gap, no filler.
Natural Calacatta marble needs sealing and stains if you look at it wrong. The quartz version doesn't. For a white worktop in a kitchen that actually gets used, that's not a small thing.
